Alexandra-Maria-Lara
Alexandra Maria Lara (born in Romania) is the Romanian actor and TV host. She's best known as the lead in Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control and Rush. Being the sole daughter of Romanian actress Valentin Platareanu, Alexandra started her showbiz career at a young age. She played lead roles in TV dramas as young at the age of 16. The Oscar-nominated film Downfall the role she played as the Secretary Traudljunge of Adolf Hitler was also critically acclaimed. The other Oscar nominated film starring the actress include The Reader and Der Baader Meinhof Komplex. Alexandra is well known for her involvement in many noteworthy projects both domestically as well as internationally. Among others, these projects include British Biographical Film Control Greek Drama film The Dust of Time French Historical Miniseries Napoleon and many more. Also, she was on the jury of the Transylvania International Film Festival, as well as at the Cannes Film Festival.
