Christina Hendricks
Christina Hendricks (born April 15 1997) is an American actor best known for playing Joan Holloway during the first seven seasons of the historical drama on AMC's Mad Men. It earned her six Emmy nominations, including best supporting actress and deserved praise from critics. In the course of her 20-year career she also gained recognition for her part in comedy drama Another Period, a crime thriller dubbed Tin Star. Her performance is noted in films such as Drive Ginger & Rosa Lost River and The Neon Demon, The Strangers : Prey at Night Egg, and American Woman. In addition, she has been the voice of animated films like From Up on Poppy Hill Toy Story 4 or Scoob! Before that, she was working as a model and kept it going for quite a while before making her acting debut on TV with the anthology show Undressed which premiered in the year 1999. Her first big role was in the drama comedy series Beggars and Choosers following which she also received appreciation for her performance in the cult hit Firefly. Esquire magazine chose her to be the Sexiest Woman on Earth as well as the most attractive American woman for 2010.
